Born and raised in the heart of Central America, Honduras, I'm the proud heir to a legacy that spans four generations of skillful jewelers. It's as if crafting exquisite pieces is woven into my DNA, passed down through time and history.

As a child, I found myself immersed in the enchanting world of jewelry. My mother owned a jewelry store, and it was here that my fascination began. With a playful heart, I'd gather coins from her attire and hunker down to polish them until they gleamed like hidden treasures. These moments of curiosity, trial, and error eventually yielded the shiniest coins you could imagine.

Beyond the coins, countless hours were spent by my mother's side. Her desk was where I learned the artistry behind the designs. She was the visionary behind some of Honduras' most iconic collections – a creative force whose brilliance continues to astound me. Her process, a mysterious dance of imagination and skill, left me in awe.

And oh, the memories I cherish. From magazine covers showcasing her creations to behind-the-scenes glimpses of fashion shows where her jewelry adorned the models. Witnessing her art come to life in the world was an experience like no other. But what truly stirred my heart was spotting her pieces on people as they went about their lives. Whether it was a friend from school or a stranger in the mall, the sight of her jewelry in the wild felt surreal, especially having been there as each piece was born from her mind.

But it wasn't just my mother who influenced me. My grandmother, a true master of salesmanship, taught me the art of connecting with people through the pieces they wore. Her innate ability to understand someone's style and personality made every sale a genuine connection. It wasn't about pushing products; it was about helping people discover something that resonated with them on a deeper level. Her wisdom became my foundation, and her knack for making people leave with a smile stayed with me.

The world beckoned, and while I explored other paths, the call of the jewelry industry persisted. My family's legacy, my mother's creativity, and my grandmother's charisma combined to shape my path. The world of jewelry, with its captivating stories and artistry, was where I belonged.

My journey led me to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Here, I immersed myself in the intricacies of Jewelry Design. But life had its twists, and in my senior year, I embraced Fashion Marketing and Management, blending a fresh perspective with my passion for adornments.

Today, I reside in the vibrant embrace of New York City. Its chaos, its energy, its ever-evolving stories – they're all part of my daily inspiration. As I step outside, I'm met with the hum of life that fuels my creativity and finds its way into every piece I create.
